Oscars 2013 – The Predictions

It’s that time of year again.  On Sunday, all of Hollywood’s elite will descend on the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles (formerly the Kodak Theatre) for the annual Academy Awards, with members from all sectors of the industry licking their lips at the prospect of taking home the biggest prize in filmmaking; that prestigious gold statue.  This year is particularly exciting as I think it’s one of the hardest to call for a long time, compared to, say, last year, when it was pretty clear cut that The Artist would take home the big prizes.

Regardless, I have made my predictions and here they are.  But let me stress that this is what I think is going to win, not necessarily what I want to win.

Got Best Picture, Director and Actress wrong. But I don’t mind; Argo won! Most of the other big ones were right.
